Does this program replace the need for on-site consulting?

For ad hoc support, absolutely. However, if you are undertaking a new project or have a change that requires more than one day of service or on site support, you will be advised that you need to engage with your Syntax Account Executive.

What’s included with my AMS monthly services package?

Access to functional (application), technical (CNC) and infrastructure support as needed. We don’t restrict support to application only. As a Managed Services customer you can get the support you need from a dedicated and diverse team, at a significantly reduced hourly rate. All your support hours are in one basket.

Does this replace our Consulting needs?

For everyday tasks (<8hrs) it certainly can be your support desk, but for larger projects such as upgrades, our Service Delivery team will be engaged on a project basis.

What if I call about a JD Edwards software defect?

The Help Desk can advise you on how to document the problem and report it to Oracle. They can also assist you throughout the problem/resolution process.

How will I know how my time has been spent each month?

A description of the activities that were performed and time spent appears on your Syntax invoice.

Is support of non-JD Edwards products included in this program?

No. This program entitles you to help with the JD Edwards Application Software.
