Regional recognition highlights Syntax’s leadership role in the local community and its industry-wide impact on cybersecurity innovation and management in the cloud

MONTREAL — October 7, 2021 — Syntax, the leading multi-cloud and multi-ERP managed cloud provider for mission-critical applications, has been named a finalist for the 2021 NC TECH Awards in the Cybersecurity category by The North Carolina Technology Association, a non-profit, membership-driven technology organization. Syntax has a major presence in the Raleigh-Durham area of the state with its U.S. headquarters based in Durham.

The NC TECH Awards is North Carolina’s only statewide technology awards program that recognizes innovation, growth, and leadership in the technology sector.

“We’re honored to be recognized by our local community as a leader in cybersecurity,” said Ryan Etinson, CEO of Americas at Syntax. “The location of our world-class Security Operations Center in North Carolina has granted us access to top talent. The region has provided a growing environment for us to further our goal to protect companies from today’s ever-evolving security risks and threats.”

Organizations in today’s evolving landscape must implement controlled and stable internal processes to quickly respond to security alarms triggered by suspicious. The company’s Durham-based Security Operations Center (SOC) provides 24/7 security operations management and support for companies worldwide. Syntax’s SOC helps enterprises overcome the growing shortage and high cost of security talent by continuously monitoring attack vectors and recommending remediation activities and workflow automation for its customers.

The solution brings protection to the next level by combining malware sandbox analysis, malware search, and threat intelligence in a single offering. In addition, Syntax’s Vulnerability Management Program (VMP) helps enterprise companies prioritize exploitable vulnerabilities and develops remediation plans outlining the exact steps needed to mitigate or remove them from their respective systems. Through its mission-critical applications, various security solutions and product offerings, Syntax provides a holistic and dynamic approach as a leader in cybersecurity.

“For over 20 years, NC TECH has celebrated companies, organizations, and individuals for outstanding achievement at the NC TECH Awards,” said Brooks Raiford, President and CEO of NC TECH. “As a finalist this year, Syntax has distinguished itself as one of the state’s innovative and emergent leaders.”
