Understanding JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Mobility Applications

On May 1, 2021, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne mobile enterprise applications went into sustaining support. These applications are no longer available from the Apple Store or Google Play. Any application developed on the Oracle Application Framework (MAF) is no longer certified by Oracle.

What does this mean for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne customers?  There are a variety of front-end mobility tools available like Oracle Visual Builder, Flutter, and many others.  Also, the Orchestrator can be used to connect to JDE E1 logic and data.

Despite the change in support, companies have many choices when it comes to creating mobile applications to support their JD Edwards EnterpriseOne systems.  This webinar will focus on the current state of mobility applications and the tools, technologies, and functionality available to fulfil your mobile application needs.

Migrate Your IBM i (AS400) to the Cloud: Improve Performance, Reliability, Flexibility and Scalability while Increasing Business Value and Reducing Costs

As the backbone of numerous core business systems, the IBM i (AS400) has proven its value as a reliable and secure data processing and workload-optimized application system that is central to many organizations for over three decades.

The IBM i retains widespread global usage as a system with a low total cost of ownership (TCO). However, as next-generation operating systems, applications, and integrations become more prevalent, the historic nature of this midrange system reduces the available talent pool and thus becomes more challenging to maintain in-house.

As IBM continues to modernize this system, the thousands of companies running them are looking for opportunities to host these systems in the cloud rather than on-premises to simplify operations and/or to align with their cloud first strategy.

In this 60-minute webinar we discuss the benefits and considerations for migrating your IBM i (AS400) workloads to the cloud. We will also discuss the various cloud hosting options which can enable reduced TCO and simplified business operations.  Also discussed will be licensing implications and migration methodology.  Finally, we will discuss how cloud hosting can improve disaster recovery, ensure high availability, and maintain business continuity.
